The Bungle Bungle Savannah Lodge team come from near and far each season to live amongst and share this impressive part of the world.
Simon Parker – Simon returns in 2018 for his third season. Simon started with the Bungle Bungle Savannah Lodge as a tour guide for the founding Wainwright family in 2016 and is now lodge manager.
Jodie Parker – Jodie realised that Simon’s heart really belonged in the Bungle Bungle, so in 2018, with their three children old enough to leave the nest, Jodie joins Simon as a host and general hand.
Jen Selth – Jen came across our recruitment advertisement early 2017 while she was guiding historical bus tours through Sydney. The red dust and rich Indigenous history of The Kimberley beckoned Jen, and we’re delighted to have her re-joining the team in 2018.
Redmond Moore – Red also realised that Jen’s heart belonged in the Bungle Bungle, and has uprooted his life in the city to join her for a tree change as a host and general hand.
Kolya Sampi – Kolya is a Jaru man from nearby Doon Doon community. He joined Bungle Bungle Guided Tours and Bungle Bungle Savannah Lodge in 2017, and in the same year won ‘Person of the Year’ at the ‘East Kimberley Aboriginal Achievement Awards’. Kolya has a deep connection with this country – his backyard, and loves sharing it with visitors from across the globe.
Daisy Peart – Daisy was born and raised in nearby Kununurra. As a Mirriwong woman she grew up learning about local bush foods and medicines, and Daisy enjoys sharing this knowledge with fellow staff and visitors. Daisy started with Bungle Bungle Guided Tours and Bungle Bungle Savannah Lodge in 2017 as a tour guide and general hand. She has been featured in the Australian House and Garden magazine.
We are currently recruiting for Chefs, General Hands, Tour Guides, and a Guest Services Officer/ 2IC for the 2018 season. Please check our Careers page for more information.
