What dates is the lodge open?

The Bungle Bungle Savannah Lodge is open between April and September. Please note the exact dates will differ slightly each year depending on the weather and national park opening and closing dates.

What about national park entry fees?

National Park Fees: CLICK HERE

Entry Fees: Self drivers need to pay national park entry fees at the visitor centre on arrival to the park.

Camping Fees: Included in your stay at Bungle Bungle Savannah Lodge.

Fly in guests: All fees included in your package cost.

What are the check in and check out times?

Check in 3:00pm | Check out 10:00am

 

Is the pricing individual or twin share?

Our rates are based on twin share. Single stays are available with a single supplement.

 

Is there power in the rooms?

240-volt power in our cabins is to be used for small personal items only.

 

Can I put my engel / car fridge in the room?

Car fridges need to remain in vehicles on your own power due to our limited solar power supply.

 

Do the rooms have bathrooms?

All of our cabins have private ensuite with hot showers and flushing toilets.

 

Are the room air-conditioned?

All rooms have louvre windows to allow the breeze to flow through, however the rooms are not air-conditioned. It is quite cold at night during the dry season months so you will most likely be rugged up in bed!

 

What do I do if I have dietary requirements?

This is something we can definitely cater for. Please let our reservations team know upon booking and we will be sure to note it in our bookings system.

 

Are pets permitted?

Unfortunately not. Purnululu National Park does not allow pets which includes Bungle Bungle Savannah Lodge.

 

I have heard it gets very cold, is this true?

Yes this is absolutely true. At times in the dry season the temperature sinks below 0 degrees. Don’t forget your winter woollies, thick socks and beanie!

 

Is there a family room?

We do have a family room, please ensure you request this room well in advance.

 

Is ice available to purchase?

Unfortunately not, as we are in a very remote location with limited supplies. Please ensure you are self-sufficient if carrying your own food.

 

Are there alcoholic beverages available?

Yes, we have a licensed bar and restaurant. However no takeaways can be purchased.

 

Is there a store at the lodge?

As we are in a very remote location we have minimal supplies on hand. When staying at the Bungle Bungle Savannah Lodge please ensure that you are self-sufficient for any personal needs.

 

Is there a pool at the lodge?

Yes there certainly is!

 

Is there phone service or wifi available at the Bungle Bungle?

There is Optus phone service available within Purnululu National Park but there is no wifi.
